The Orlando Attractions Magazine blog is reporting cast members are starting to see some unusual things happening backstage near Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom. According to the post, cast members say some construction is taking place backstage, presumably part of the rumored Fantasyland expansion. This is in addition to some additional reports noted in the post.
So far, there's no word at all from Disney on these supposed plans. It is still quite possible that this is all a hoax or just conceptual plans, but with all the talk coming from cast members, it appears something may be going on. Is it this rumored major expansion? Is it just routine maintenance that's being perceived as this supposed expansion plan? Who knows.
